In mid November, my family and I went down to Kuala Lumpur for shopping trip.Mum wants to visit her mum which is my granny who live alone with my uncle who stay in Damansara.We use to stay in my uncle’s house since few years ago.
Once we reach at uncle’s house, I have already have an appointment with my friends in Kuala Lumpur for dinner.I have a funny story to tell, it start with my friend’s Arron who stay at Sepang there which is the furthest one.So, he came to fetch my friend Nicholas who stay at Sunway there.I told Nicholas that i stay at around “midvalley mall” there,Oh Gosh I confuse up with “One Utama”mall and “Midvalley”mall.So, he suggest me to meet my the other friend,Chien Chen who stays at Help University because he told me that the place they wanted to have dinner is at Damansara there.So, i asked my Uncle’s to fetch me to his house and it was quite jam, sorry to my uncle. In the end, I just realized the place where we eat is only 10 minutes from my uncle’s house.
So, Chien Chen and I reached at the place where they wanted to eat first which was at Uptown Damansara .There were all Malay stall there, we were quite surprised, cause’ they wanted to eat western food, we find all over the place but it seems there were no western food to be found.Until Nicholas and Arron reached, the brought us the a corner edge there , it really turn out to be a western food corner but the owner is Malay, first time I see Malay sell western food.The western food was average, I ordered grilled lamb. We talk a lot on that night and this also concluded the day.
It was a family dinner gathering and my uncle them brought us to a Seafood Coffee Shop.It was located quite outskirt location i suppose.It is a nice place after all which has a artificial stream beside the Seafood Coffee Shop.
This how our family reunion together.Everybody talk alot and the environment filled with laughter.The food is really delicious.
This is my sister and his boyfriend.After for so one month, finally we see each other once again.We didn’t really contact to each other on normal days as she is very busy with her work.
This the outlet which is in Sunway Piramid Mall. We cannot decide where to have our late lunch, at first they wanted to have Japanese food for lunch.At last we decide to have out lunch at “Tang Shi Fu”. It seems the whole shop is selling soup stuff. Soup is my all time favorite,so i guess is an ideal place to have lunch.
It was my mum’s birthday, so we treat this meal as a celebration for her.
This is called “盆菜” in chinese “Poon Choi” in english is also known as Big Bowl Feast, is a traditional type of dish originating from Hong Kong village cuisine. It was said that Poon Choi was invented during the late Song Dynasty.To serve the Emperor as well as his army, the locals collected all their best food available, cooked it, and because there were not enough containers, put the resulting dishes in wooden washbasins.
Inside the big bowl feast there is a various type of expensive ingredient such as abalone, sea cucumber, shrimp and lots more. It is eat with layers by layers.The top ingredients is the most expensive one .This is my first time eating this.People normally eat this during Chinese New Year.

After that, we went for shopping.I bought myself a pair of shoes.Normally shopping,i use to shop alone.Last time when i was young i shop with my mama,as i grown up i shop alone and i have my own taste of fashion too..I wouldn’t care if you feel the clothes that i choose you not crazy about, the most important is i like it. – in bossy manner.
Sushi Zamai for our dinner. It was so long queue out there.
Japanese is also my family all time favorite.It been a long time i never eat Japnese food.It is my lovely Cawa Mushi We ordered a lot of salmon and sushi too.
This is our second or third plate already.I always love to eat the slices of the white carrot.
It was a satisfied dinner.
We arrived at Genting Highlands.The weather was rather chilly as i row down the car’s window. It was so windy outside and exhale in the freshness of the air.
We stopped by the memorial hall of Lim Goh Tong. This is the statue of him.The graveyard was hidden inside which we cannot go in.
Especially when the weather is cold, we get to hungry more easily.After, we got out hotel room’s key.We decided to eat something which is hot. Bak Kut Teh is the best choice i guess.Surprisingly, it was good.Cause’ i did not expect it will be that good or either i was too hungry at that time.
My excited dad with his Elton John’s ticket after redeemed the ticket from the counter for the concert on that night.
So now you know the reason we drive all the way up to Genting Highlands to watch Elton John’s concert.
Unfortunately, there is not camera allow, so i did not take any footage or photos during the concert. The concert was awesome as in the enjoyment together with my family, but for the song part, i just know one or two of his song.
Majority of them were senior folks,I was one of the youngest one.

On the way down to have our lunch, we went to visit the temple.I’m not sure about the temple name, but i know some part of it is the new one.They renovate it.
Later on we went to one of the coffee shop along the way called Gotong Jaya. It consider king prawn.It was so yummy with the sweet and sour gravy. Especially the prawn head, it was so juicy, of course i know excessive of it may cause cholesterol.
