Macbook Pro is back 3
Finally my Macbook pro is back.Previously,I did write a post about my Macbook Pro issue.
So,I’ve sent to my Macbook Pro to the service center for test and diagnostic to see if my Macbook pro is qualified to entitled the free service for my Macbook pro which is according from the apple support website.
The stuff of the apples service called me up and they told me that they had encounter the logic board’s of my Macbook Pro is defected and need to replace it with a new one and therefore the issue does not entitled me a free service which is unrelated to the apple support website’s article.They told me that the articles mentioned is about the graphic card issue only entiltled a free service.
Anyway the service center stuff asked me to call the official apple center.I actually called up the official apple center to make an enquire about my Macbook Pro issue, the person on the call direct my call to one of the Genius of apple which was a lady.The lady was very friendly and she told me that for my case certainly that isn’t a free service but she told me she will see what she can help me to maximize my the problem and call me a few days later.
I was in college having my class, my phone suddenly vibrate and saw the incoming call was came from an odd number and i knew it was from apple.She called me up and telling me that for the logic replacement will costs around 2-3k and i was kinda dejected when i first listen to what she has told me and who knows she was like giving me a suprise and told me that actually she got a special arrangement from the apple to have a free replacement for the logic and i just need to pay for the labour charges.
I was so delighted.Getting a logic board replacement is like getting a brand new Macbook Pro.Anyway,it works perfectly now and everything goes smoothly and so far it did not give me a single bit of problem.

Hi nice to meet you Chai.I’m from Penang so there is actually one and the only service center there so therefore i sent it to there.My issue is due to the logic board which will costs about 2-3k.No,my Macbook Pro is not under warranty.It depends on how serious is your issues, like mine is around 2 weeks.

Hi Alvin,seems like i’m having same problem like your MBP.may i know which service centre did you went to?how much is the total cost? Are your MBP still under warranty?How long does it take until everything is fixed? sorry for asking to many question since i’m really pissed off with my MBP.
